A Little Bit About Me...

From my childhood to this present day, helping others has always been my passion. I like to help people with their problems, I would love to teach people about the things that I am good at. I am currently a student in University of Tennessee, and I work as a tutor in the Educational Advancement Program iat my college. I always try my best to teach people let them understand the course material. I would love to help you either online or meet in person. I am a statistics major, I took a lot of math in high school and college, and I have never had a score lower than an A in math. I am a native Chinese speaker, and I am going to college in the US. I speak English well, some of my friends take Chinese, and I always help them out, so I familiar with what people struggle with in learning Chinese. Can't wait to hear back from you.

My comments on tutoring Chinese : I lived in China for one year and studied the language. I continue studying every day and plan to return to China for further study in 2013.

I spent the last year teaching English in China. I have experience teaching ESOL, and am experienced dealing learners of English of a second language. I studied Chinese during my stint there and am willing and able to tutor beginning students of the Chinese language who want to develop functional skills in Mandarin for career or personal development. I was an A-student during my time in college and often was the leader of study groups and offered personal tutoring to students struggling in my biblical Hebrew class. I served as a teacher's assistant for General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. I worked in a biochemistry lab for one summer during my undergraduate career.
