I enjoy seeing children discover the world around them in their own ways. Therefore, I teach the importance of working things out until you understand it for yourself. Children will meet and often surpass any goal that is given to them if you show that you believe in them. I use a hands-on approach, as much as possible, with a problem-solving emphasis. I firmly believe that a child remembers things more if he is able to work it out for himself. As a result, I take more of a mentoring position the older the child is.
