American History is one of my top subjects! I have been a dynamic, creative teacher of American History at the high school and college levels. In addition, I have two masters degrees in history.

My teaching style emphasizes active student participation in the learning process.
I am a professional historian who also has more than 15 years experience in teaching ESL and standard English courses. Hardworking, Efficient, and Productive Tutor

Strategic and fun
I'm a young student who enjoys teaching. It's the responsibility of the teacher, to cause the subject to come alive for each student, and that is what I love to do. Only through that, can the student fully grasp what the teacher is offering to them. Both the teacher and student or students can greatly benefit from each other, when things are done in the right fashion. The teacher perfects his or her skills and the student also gains whatever it is that he or she wants to learn.

Let's get back down to the basics (Latin, History, Science)

I like to boil things down to the basics. With Latin and Science that means learning as much as one can about the basic elements and then building one step at a time on those basics. In history, it means learning the story, and telling the story.
I recieved a BA degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I majored in Classical Civilization (with a Latin Concentration) and History. I have 12 years of experience teaching Latin. The courses I have taught include introductory courses, Latin I, Latin II, and Latin III. 3 years of Life Science teaching experience. 4 years of History teaching experience (as a tour guide and history interpreter) 12 years of experience teaching writing as well.

I am Paine College graduate. I earned a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science in 2006. I have also tooken graduate work in mathematic and math education. For the past eight years I have also work or volunteered as a personal math tutor.
Teaching is something that is not meant for everyone. I am fortunate to say that my academic success is due to my ability to break down any material to a basic ideal and teach the materials in mutiple ways. The most important thing I do is make the material appeal to any individuals. Once these things are established, I believe student can effectivly learn and grow.

My education in international relations and international public affairs has allowed me to gain knowledge in the social sciences and foreign languages. As an undergraduate student, I studied and worked in Spain, which has given me the opportunity to hone my Spanish skills. In graduate school, I participated in a number of Mandarin Chinese intensive language programs, both in the United States and mainland China. I have tutored students in high school and college and have also served as a mentor to undergraduate and graduate students. As a future university professor, students’ success and understanding of the subject at hand is of the utmost importance to me.

I love teaching people French. When I was in high I worked as a French teacher aid and that when I feel in love with teaching French to people. While I was in college I worked as a French tutor for 4 years. I am patient, easy going, and considerate person. Trust me I knew the stress and frustration that arise when you are learning a new language. I learn to speak and write English the US. I believe everybody can learn a new language.
Although I am a native French speaker I took the highest French classes while I was still in college. I took this class because I wanted to keep up with my writing and oral French. The French classes that I took have help me to keep with my french.
