I have always had a passion for education and learning. I have always excelled in mathematics from elementary to collegiate levels. I LOVE math. I love to do math and I love to teach math. I was even on a math competition team in middle school. I have a strong statistical background from my Psychology studies and have taught Middle Grades Math to 8th graders. I taught Standard 8 Plus and Algebra 1 to 8th grade students in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School system. I also tutored Psychology students in Statistics at the collegiate level during my time as a teaching assistant.

As a graduate from UNC with a degree in English, I have gained an in-depth understanding of the English language. Through this rigorous program, I was consistently expected to provide strongly written and grammatically accurate essays that proved I had achieved an above-average analytical understanding of many forms of literature. My verbal and written communication skills were honed while serving in editorial and leadership positions at the university. I have invested time in helping others prepare essays that seek to analyze and investigate all types of prose from poetry to academic journals.
