My comments on tutoring Government : Certified to teach

I have worked for the past 13 years in accounting and management positions. I started in the Master of Education in the Teaching Arts at Mississippi College this past January and recieved by Class A Teacher's License in June of this year. I am certified to teach grades 4-8 in all four of the major subjects: math, science, social studies and language. I am also certified to teach grades 7-12 in the social studies area: US History, government, geography, and world history. I am also highly qualified to teach accounting and business because of the number of accounting and business classes that I have taken.

My 20+ years of working have given me the opportunity to gain experience in the following industries: public accounting, non-profit education, telecommunications, legal and banking. Some of the skills that I have acquired include: general accounting, auditing and taxes, budgeting, financial analyses and financial modeling. Gratified by the opportunity to attend college, I am the only member of my family to earn a degree. In 2008, I obtained my undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from the prestigous Jackson State University. At present, I am completing my graduate degree in History from (JSU). A Little Bit About Me...

During my education at Alcorn, I have helped a myriad of my colleagues with papers, historical facts, and a general/detail understanding of a given historical topic. I would routinely do this three to four times a week. This opportunity helped to expand my knowledge and expound the students.
