I obtained my licensure through NCTEACH in Specific Learning Disabilities. I am Highly Qualified by way of Praxis exam. I have taught grades 6-12 in almost all disability identifications primarily math and language arts; however, have supported various other subject areas.
I believe that all students, regardless of gender, socioeconomic environment or ability, can learn and should be challenged with creative and applicable opportunities to achieve their best. I love working with kids and educating them. One of my first career experience was working as an aftercare counselor with a private school in South Florida. Over my time there, I went from just being a counselor being the director of the entire after-school program. I was also a substitute teacher and worked with all grades from Kindergarten to 7th grade.
