Organic Chemistry is one of my top subjects! I received my BS in chemistry and my MS, Ph.D, and post-doctoral education in organic chemistry. Since 1998, my academic career has allowed me to teach chemistry to a wide variety of audiences, from high school students to assistant professors. During my tutoring sessions, I have noticed that assessing the student’s preference of learning is of upmost importance. This basic inquiry then allows me to tailor the session to their specific needs. Typically, I make use of everyday objects to help facilitate the student’s comprehension of the course material.

As the oldest of three children, I have informally tutored for many years. While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I worked with a community college student and aided him in passing his Algebra course. My interests in education are diverse. A Little Bit About Me...
