I have been tutoring for over 8 years. I have also started youth tutoring programs since 2007. I have taught algebra, organic chemistry, physics, and other core mathematics and chemistry classes. I try to find the teaching style that is going to work for the student. Are they visual? Do they need to touch to learn? Finding out how to teach them and then helping them learn skills for independent study are just as important as the material.
