My legal background has prepared me for tutoring in that I am able to effectively communicate with the student and present the material in a manner conducive to a learning experience(similar to explaining legalese to a lay person). Above all, I strive to ensure that the student has a true understanding of the materials, as opposed to simple memorization. People are always surprised when they find out I'm a math nerd. I'm outgoing, I like to joke and I play sports. At the University of California-Berkeley, I have pursued my academic interests and personal convictions through a variety of study, work and volunteer experiences.
