Every kid is different in their own special way. You need different tactics per different kid. Being that I am patient and caring I know that it wouldn't take long for them to get comfortable with me and have me assist them. I believe that every good deed should be rewarded and if the student is doing well he shall be treated so, with a possible treat or even a pat on the back. I feel that if a child is told what they are doing right rather than what they are doing wrong they are more likely to have a positive outlook on what task they are trying to accomplish.
As a young college student I understand that my experience doesn't compare to those with degrees and much time doing it. As a graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Education, I have a great diverse experience with children and families. I have volunteered my education experience and worked at many places including preschools, kindergarten centers, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and early childhood centers. I also have been involved as a juvenile tracker for Lutheran Social Services where I had to earn each juvenile's trust and help them become more responsible and be able to positively deal with school and life in general. I have had a variety of work experiences in the past ranging from resident assistant, teacher, counselor, and multicultural tutor.
