Motivation is important because it is the driving force to achieve personal success. Our role as teachers is to learn what motivate each student and then utilize that knowledge. The Achievement Centers, our after school tutorial/diagnostic clinic and before and after school care, is available for all ages and subjects. Tutoring and diagnostic testing is available after school, evenings (Monday – Friday) and Saturday mornings. The clinic is available year-round. Our testing clinician and school psychologist offer a Psychoeducational Evaluation to all new students. I have been fascinated with tutoring for the past three years ago. I began tutoring one of the professors at the University of IL at Chicago in a foreign language. Since then, I have been tutoring various age groups from eight years old to fifty four years old. I received my Bachelor degree in Biology from University of IL at Chicago. While studying Biology, I was able to take various courses in science such as Math, Physics, General and Organic Chemistry, Physiology and biology.
I believe a great teacher needs to have proper skills and talents for teaching. I learned a lot while growing up from a great teacher; my mother.
