I believe that a hands-on approach to learning is best - in all subject areas. I have a great deal of experience working with students of various ages and learning styles. I will strive to help any student that I work with gain knowledge and be able to apply that knowledge in their schooling and everyday life.
I graduated from the University of Iowa in 1989. My degree is in Elementary Education with an emphasis in reading. I taught in the same school district for 20 years where I gained experience teaching first, second, third and sixth grade.
