My comments on tutoring Testing Strategies : Using and teaching skills constantly.

My method of tutoring is to work with students where they are and add to their skills, to accomplish the final outcome, preferably an "A" or "B." Some students are visual learners and some are informational learners, or some students combine the two. The potential I see in students is what I try to bring out and have them realize they are capable of going a step further, to reach their goal. The importance of education and the students' continuance of same cannot be stressed enough.
I started out tutoring elementary students in basic math and English grammar while I attended college part time in the 1980's. I have recently graduated from Lawrence Technological University with a BA in graphic design, although all of my work experience has been with children. A Little Bit About Me...

As a student at the University of Detroit Mercy, I worked as a tutor for two years. I helped other students struggling in mathematics and biology classes. Also, my senior year in college I worked as a Teaching Assistant for a Microbiolgy lab. In addition, I did student teaching for a Catholic Middle School.

I have took many entrance tests including the bar exam, GMAT, LSAT, and ACT. I have also took them in association with Kaplan to teach for Kaplan.
