I enjoy demonstrating skills and processes and then as a coach/guide in helping students develop and apply these skills and knowledge. I show the students how to properly do a task or work through a problem and then I'll help them master the task or problem solution. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a firm believer that tutoring students one-on-one is very beneficial and gives the student the added time and experience needed to excel in a certain subject. I also believe that each student has a different learning style which should be emphasized during tutoring sessions in order to make the learning experience easier,and more effective.
I have been a full time tutor for the SUNY Research Foundation for four years and have tutored students in grades 6-9 in the areas of english,history,math and science.I am presently located at the Fort Plain High School with the research foundation program.Before this, I was a substitute teacher for three years in the following areas:math, science, english and history. This was also at the high school level.
