I believe learning is a great thing and can help everyone.

I have been helping my class mates with there assignments for many years. I learn quickly and like to help many as many people as I can. I have tutored many different classes. Such as Algebra and Anatomy. I'm teachers aid for a freshman high school class at Clearwater High school. I have taken a few college classes through my High school such as college algebra, anatomy, certified nurses aid, and a welding class.

In undergrad, I was somewhat of a perfectionist looking for a way to help others. I found that being a tutor and a supplemental instructor allowed me to help others in ways I could never imagine. I became a California Reading and Learning Certified tutor and supplemental instructor in 2008 with a program called the Center for Academic Success at the small liberal arts college I was attending and recieved students asking for help in classes including english, college writing seminars, chemistry, and math. As a result of my help, the students' grades raised from F's to A's, B's and C's over time. I loved helping them and they appreciated me helping them.

A Little Bit About Me...

"Teaching" was the way I supported myself through college. I was a lab instructor, university experience teacher, cultural anthropology tutor, nutrition educator, and even a gymnastic instructor. I was thankful to find the College of St. Mary's Masters of Arts in Teaching. It is a solid program that has given me the opportunity to have a formal education in teaching. In my program I have over 100 practicum hours in a middle school science classroom, I tutored AP chemistry, and I have had exposure to reading comprehension strategies in many of my classes.
