Teaching for me is a calling. My reward is watching my students grow academically and socially. As a lifelong learner, I seek to ignite a spark for self-discovery in my students' lives. I have experienced firsthand how the arts have helped children grow, providing them with academic and personal success. I know that with the right evironment, structure, and guidance, a child is able to reach for and exceed their potential. A Little Bit About Me...

While my experiences have encompassed many disciplines and languages, among them German and Russian, my education from Columbia University has provided me a strong background in the liberal arts and humanities. I have strong analytical, compositional and grammatical skills as a result of writing papers, participating in peer edits, and teaching grammar in an English as a Second Language program.
