A Little Bit About Me...

I taught with the Bangor adult education program in the early 1980's as a graduate student in educational psychology. I taught adults a variety of subjects math, English and GED preparation at that time. I also taught English as a Second language with them. I also hold a masters in education at the University of Maine at Orono that I have not listed in the formal education section. I reserved that section for relevant finance and accounting information. But having said that, I have a broad psychology and education background (I was a clinical counselor for 12 years)that goes along with my knowledge of finance and accounting theory.

I am a home-schooling mom who has been tutoring mathematics for over ten years. I began tutoring math while still in high school. In college, I facilitated study groups and 1-on-1 tutoring sessions. I graduated with a BA in Mathematics with a GPA of 3.19. I am a member of the Math Honor Society Pi Mu Epsilon.
