My comments on tutoring Spanish : I am native-fluent speaker. I have done presentations and speeches in Spanish. I had my whole principal studies in Mexico.

There are several ways to learn. My favorite and the one I work best is to observe. Mostly I understand the things when I see them working. When I teach, I always do an explanation first and then I put it on practice so the student can fully use this new skill.
I am from Mexico, so most of my experience in these three areas of knowledge. In my chess experience, I've been involved in this awesome game since I was 13. I've participated in many tournaments in my Hometown Matamoros. I represented several times my high school, my hometown, and once my state in a national tournament. I taught children how to play chess in my neighborhood as hobbies because all of my older brothers play chess, so I played with them during more than 3 years and many children got interested. I hold the personal belief that, “All children are special and learn differently. Each possesses the right and the ability to learn. It is my responsibility to ensure that all children receive the knowledge and tools necessary to reach their full potential.” I think learning needs to be presented in different ways for children to learn because I do not think there is one “right” way to learn. Since not all people learn the same, I try to make sure that I can think of fun, creative, and unique methods for presenting materials.
