LESSONS SHOULD ACCOMMODATE STUDENT LEARNING STYLES

I have 15 years of teaching experience with special needs students in a rural school district. During this time i provided private tutoring sessions for Elementary, Middle, High School and College students. At the college level my tutoring experience is with reading, writing, study skills and organization. Currently I develop educational programming for incarcerated youth.

It is very important to me that my students have fun while they are learning. Much of my teaching is done through games and hands-on experiences. I worked for 2 years as an 8th grade math teacher, then 7 years as a 6th grade math teacher at Lowville Academy in Lowville,NY.
