My teaching style reflects the way I learn best. I find that hands on learning is by far the most effective, a fun educational memory is much easier to recall than a set of hard facts.

LESSONS SHOULD ACCOMMODATE STUDENT LEARNING STYLES

My belief is that all students have different learning styles. Therefore lessons need to be individualized to meet student needs. In order to be successful students need to be engaged by creative teachers. My teaching experience has taught me to accommodate these needs when developing lesson plans.
I have 15 years of teaching experience with special needs students in a rural school district. I have a bachelor's degree in chemistry and biology from SUNY Oswego. I also have my Master's degree from SUNY Oswego. During this time I taught lab classes, as well as doing research.
