Bringing Out The Potential In Students...

I started out tutoring elementary students in basic math and English grammar while I attended college part time in the 1980's. I continued tutoring young students and adults in the 1990's, tutoring Basic Math, Basic and Intermediate Algebra, Basic Geometry, English Composition, Speech, Study Skills and the Sciences. In addition, tips were given to enhance test-taking skills in hard-to-Ace subjects like Economics. I like to have the kids be interactive with my my teaching. I have the kids fill out "fill in the blanks" while I am lecturing and I like to have the kids come up to the board and do problems after the lecturing. I also like to apply real world applications when possible.
I am currently working as a substitute teacher in many districts in metro Detroit. While I was in college, I also tutored many students in calculus (I, II & III), Differential Equations, Linear Equations, C++, and Microsoft office words, and excel.
