A Little Bit About Me...

I am a student enrolled in Wayne State University in the undergraduate program for English. I have studied English for over five years which includes reading comprehension, language, creative writing, and academic prep. I have taken SAT, ACT, and the Advanced Placement exam I will be able to assist anyone who is going to take these exams or planning on taking them. A Little Bit About Me...

My comments on tutoring Composition : I am a certified English and French teacher with 18 years of experience.

My teaching style...? I do not have only one; part of the point of tutoring is the ability to truly tailor styles/strategies to individuals or small groups. I must say that I am the funniest person I know, and I crack myself up all the time. Humor is always one of my favorite/best strategies.

I started out tutoring elementary students in basic math and English grammar while I attended college part time in the 1980's. I continued tutoring young students and adults in the 1990's, tutoring Basic Math, Basic and Intermediate Algebra, Basic Geometry, English Composition, Speech, Study Skills and the Sciences. Share your knowledge to someone else.

Critical thinking skills and untraditional ways are what I focus on. However the way someone learns, I will try to set the individual up to show how they learn and work with them.
