A Little Bit About Me...

As a student throughout high school and college I have enjoyed learning and often joke with my friends that I would go to school forever if I could. I have earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemistry at a very academic and research oriented school. I am currently continuing my education through an online Master's of Science in Forensic Toxicology program with the University of Florida. A Little Bit About Me...

As a mother of three teenagers, i decided to go back to school and fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a high school English teacher. I could not imagine myself doing anything but helping young minds grow to their fullest potential. I am highly qualified in the area of writing. My 10th grade students have an 85% proficiency rating for the NC writing assessment. I also teach Graduation Project that requires an 8-10 page documented research paper. My skills in these areas will prove highly useful in a tutoring capacity.
