I have over ten years of experience in the education field in the capacity of teaching. I have a BS in mathematics and a MA in Teaching. I hold two valid professional teaching certificates in Mathematics,Academically Gifted education, and Gifted and talented education for the states of NC and SC. I have been a high school math teacher for 10 years, an adult high school and GED teacher for eight years. I also have over 12 years of tutoring experience in mathematics, science, and reading.
I love teaching and I truly believe that all children can learn, but in their own way. I enjoy all facets of business. I teach more as a coach pointing out ways to improve while at the same time controlling the balance of a stable learning environment. I like to use real world/real-time examples because those types of examples are in front of us everyday are very easy to relate too. I also believe in a research based approach, which looks at a subject matter from many different perspectives. Different perspectives can translate into multiple opportunities to change information that might be difficult to understand into information that is easily understandable. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of Pfeiffer University's Pre Medical program, I feel that I am qualified to tutor students in the fields of math and science. I graduated Magna Cum Laude and finished in the top ten in my class. With a double major in Pre-Med and Biology, and a minor in Chemistry, I have gained understanding of these areas and can help other students learn and understand the concepts presented in these particular subjects.
