Special Education is one of my top subjects! I have been a Special Education Teacher for 4 years at the pre-k level working with students 3-5 years old with various disabilities.

For the last 4 years I have taught Special Education at the pre-k level. My classes consist of students with disabilities, as well as students without disabilities. Over the last four years I have had the opportunity to work with students with various disabilities including: Autism, Traumatic brain injuries, ADD and ADHD, Down Syndrome and learning disabilities.

I hold a BS in Biology from the University at Albany. I also have a profound love for mathematics and have tutored numerous students in calculus I and II while in college. Going along with my love for mathematics I enjoy the study of physics and tutored two students in both physics I and II while in college. Individualization is an important part of my teaching style. I think it is important to identify what the student needs to work on and present it in a way the student can grasp the concept and enjoy learning. The student has to enjoy learning to succeed.
