My philosophy of discipline is simple: observe, take data and find the function of the behavior. When a student misbehaves in class there is an underlying reason. Every behavior has a function. The function can be to gain access to an item or person, to avoid doing the work or aggressive behaviors if they do not understand the assignment completely, medicine or personal affects (hungry, sleepy or thirsty). A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated high school in 2008. I then attended West Ga Tech., for over a year. I majored in technical communications and took numerous computer classes. I love computers and Math. Those are my two favorite subjects but I am pretty well rounded, there's not much I can't do. I'm very self motivated and enjoy helping people better themselves. I have volunteered over 80 hours combined from the summers of 2011-2012.I've worked with a diverse amount of students ages varying.Although I do mainly focusing on K-1 ,I am capable of helping any elementary student become successful and improve there selves in what ever it is that there struggling in. My teaching style depends on the student, but I like to use demonstrations, work through a problem instead of giving a problem, and I use visual learning methods (pictures and examples)
I graduated high school in 2013 and became a student at Adams State University in the fall of 2013.
