A Little Bit About Me...

Having earned degrees in PE, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics I have a strong science background in subjects such as Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, Kinetics, Biomechanics, Cellular Biology, Physics and Chemistry. In turn many of these subjects require knowledge of advanced mathmatical formulas and statistics. Therefore I am also very strong in math. I have published many articles as well as scientific research which emphasizes my skills in writing and grammar and again supports my knowledge of statistical analysis. Institutions for which I have taught are CSU Chico, Butte College, Yuba College and The American College Of Sports Medicine. A Little Bit About Me...

I have many years experience as an illustrator and graphic designer, with large and small advertising agencies in Los Angeles. I have taught sculpture to children with Cindy Jackson through Art Center College of Design's program, "Art Center for Kids". I have also held volunteer workshops for Children of the Night in Van Nuys, California. I have privately tutored as well, for portfolio development for high school students seeking admission to art schools. I paint and draw in weekly workshops, and have begun my MFA through Academy of Art in San Francisco's internet program. A Little Bit About Me...

As a business and computer educator, I have worked with fourth—sixth grade students, high school youth, and adults. During three decades at Oroville High School and Oroville Adult Education and Career Center, I have taught and used Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook as well as Accounting, finance, office machines, general and business math. During my last five years as a full-time teacher, I was the school yearbook adviser. In this capacity I used Adobe InDesign and Photoshop extensively. Besides a minor in economics I have a significant background in mathematics and have tutored community college students in algebra as well as accounting.
