I believe in incorporating multiple methods of teaching language, and with such a complex topic as learning a second, or even third language I also believe in tailoring said methods to the student's specific needs. For example, if one finds a kindred with music, introducing them to french songs would be one of the stronger ways to accomplish fluency and language recognition. I believe in allowing the student to work most of the problems out for themselves. While explaining the rules of a particular word problem or paper topic is important, the student will only learn if he or she is able to come to the right conclusion through dedicating the time and effort into the project that they are working on. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching philosophy is that, as educators, we must "teach the whole person". Even though I am a language arts teacher, I try to instill goals and values into my students by completing a variety of acitivities. I love hands-on teaching and allowing my students to have fun while learning.
