I have had the unique opportunity through my diverse educational experiences to work with many different types of people. My initial degree is in Social science from Alfred State University. Throughout my education at Alfred State University I truly believe I began to understand and appreciate others and their differences. I received my second degree from Cortland State University in Early Childhood Education with Inclusion. I had the opportunity to work with many different types of children. I also had many diverse experiences while teaching first grade in Florida. In addition to teaching first grade I was also lucky to be able to tutor children from disadvantaged communities and help them thrive in school. I am looking to forward to teaching and would like display my skills. I am a very energetic person with the ability to take control of a classroom while producing winning results.

I have taught in many areas of study. Since I was young, I taught my younger family members the importance of manners, honesty, care, and responsibility. I believe this has carried into my real-life career as a teacher. I have taught at schools such as Hope Hall in Rochester, NY and Lemoyne Elementary in Syracuse, NY. There I helped my students with their basic subject courses during their class time period. I have taught dance at Kami's Kix Dance Studio which has helped me to gain stronger classroom management skills as well as gaining a thicker patience. I am currently attending SUNY Oswego and in 2011 will graduate with a BA in Childhood Education. You can preach all you want to children, but if you don't teach, there will be no learning. As a recent graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, I am excited to begin helping high school and college students with math and science, as well as technical and essay writing. I have earned a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering, and a MS in Engineering Management. This curriculum has enabled me to gain a deep understanding of math and science used in both engineering and business settings. I have also learned extensive writing skills throughout my career both at Greatbatch, Inc and Lockheed Martin.
