As a private school and state school graduate,I recieved a broad and varied background in higher education.I taught at two Catholic Schools. I have performed also as a substitute teacher with the experience of teaching at most grade levels and subjects. I have also performed Homebound Teaching for regular and Special Education Students-my jobs would range from: short term 2-10 days long term 3 weeks to 1 full year, at their home,the school,or library.The jobs would involve academic problems,behavior issues,medical absence at home,or the hospital. I used my G.I bill Benefits to attend the University of Connecticut, where I received my Bachelors in History with a minor in Political Science. Throughout my education at Alfred State University I truly believe I began to understand and appreciate others and their differences. I received my second degree from Cortland State University in Early Childhood Education with Inclusion. I had the opportunity to work with many different types of children.
