I have experience working with students from Kindergarten through adult education. My earliest teaching experience was with primary grade children (K-2) in an inner-city school district. I taught basic skills to incarcerated men in a NJ Correctional Facility. I have experience working with first generation college students in need of remedial coursework before advancing to college level courses. I'm currently working (part-time) teaching GED writing and math, 2 evenings a week. I combine a variety of teaching styles to accommodate student's learning style. When it comes to GED instruction, I would say that math is my strong suit. I always try to find examples of how certain skills could be applied to real life experiences.

I have worked in the field of education as a teacher for 30 years. I have taught basic skills in foundations of Reading to middle school students.
