I have over 25 years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) industry as an instructional developer, technical writer, help developer, business process analyst, and trainer. I have earned a BA in Spanish and an MEd in Instructional Technology. I am pursuing a PhD in Education in Instructional Design for Online Learning (IDOL). I am a firm believer that teaching requires the passing of understanding and not just knowledge. Everyone learns in a different way, and as such information must be presented in different ways to get through to differing individuals. If a student can gain understanding in any subject, they will always retain that understanding even if the knowledge has been temporarily misplaced. I attented Twin Falls Christian Academy throughout my highschool career. During the second semester of my junior year i recieved a credit for helping teach in the daycare facility. I also helped a first grade boy with his spelling and reading assignments due to his lack of understanding the English language.
