I am a recent summa cum laude graduate from St. Catherine University in Saint Paul MN, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Studio Arts. I am currently finishing a year long fellowship at the Marchutz School of Fine Arts in the South of France where I have participated in the immersive painting and drawing program in addition to providing guidance and assistance to students. Teaching style varies on the child in questions ability to learn. I'm patient and will do anything it takes to help the child.
I'm in my senior year of High School, I have worked with my siblings on their school all of my life. I've helped my little brother who has ADHD with his homework, I've worked with him through book projects, spelling tests, history homework, pretty much anything and everything. I believe that each child has their own special style of learning in which they succeed the best at. When I tutor students I take the time to get to know each student on an individual basis and as a unique person. I make it a priority to determine their learning style and use that to implement a plan. I try and understand the reason they are having problems in their studies and then execute a plan in which they can succeed. I create study guides, review questions, and sample test questions for the students as well.
