I have 22 years experience of working with students ages 6 to 17 in two different countries. I taught elementary for two years in India and 4 years of 6th grade to 10th grade in India. I worked as a Teaching Assistant in California for one year in a middle school in a special education classroom. I got the opportunity to work as a T.A in St.Paul School District for 2 years with special needs students in an elementary school. Teaching style varies on the child in questions ability to learn. I'm patient and will do anything it takes to help the child.
I'm in my senior year of High School, I have worked with my siblings on their school all of my life. I've helped my little brother who has ADHD with his homework, I've worked with him through book projects, spelling tests, history homework, pretty much anything and everything. My responsibilities included teaching, preparing learning materials for basic reading, personal finance, and vocational skills, implementing behavior programs, supervising 7 staff members, and writing quarterly lesson plans and progress reports. I also spent a couple of hours per week for 2 years, tutoring my blind supervisor on the use of computers.
