joined the army in 2002. served for over 9 years. Scored a 72 on my ASVAB,and 0ver 110 in all fields of the GT score. So i know a bit about everything that is asked of in the ASVAB test. Especially in the automotive and math sections. Worked in a variety of environments, where i learned housekeeping,cooking,and automotive skills.
I can teach in a variety of ways. mainly by using ways to relate to the students understandings. I dont like the costant drilling techniques many people use. Some people learn more by constantly studying, while others study just enough to get an understanding. thats me.

Not every child learns at the same pace. I am a believer in giving every child a chance. I liken tutoring sessions to the repair of a crumbling pyramid. I believe that every student is capable of learning and understanding the material that is presented to them in class, but that due to some reason, he or she does not understand some of the basic concepts that later material adds onto. Hence, the base of their pyramid is unstable. Usually in the first tutoring session, I try to gauge where the student is supposed to be in the material while at the same time trying to figure out where the missing foundation stones are.
