A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that no two students learn alike and the most important thing is to make sure students are having fun with learning. If learning is looked at as boring or hard students will try to avoid it, when learning is fun students learn without realising the work involved. I am willing to try a new tactic with every new task and am always learning myself. As someone new to the education field I am always researching new ideas in the education field.
The 2009-2010 school year will be my third year as a substitute teacher. Having attended Heidelberg College and receiving a Bachelor's degree in English, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Theater/Communications, I feel I have the necessary experience in order to educate others. Furthermore, I will receiving my Masters degree in English from Tiffin University this spring. My teaching experience, coupled with related activities outside the classroom has provided me with a diverse background with much to offer to the position of computer tutor for the Ann Arbor college. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Michigan in Flint this May, 2008. Prior to that, I had an extensive student teaching experience in both suburban and urban school districts.
