I've always had a talent for physics, mathematics and computers, showed fully since high school. After assisting teaching my Advance Placement Computer Science class (C++), I went on to take 1st in the nation for the FBLA C++ computer programming competition. I've studied physics at the University of West Georgia, computer engineering at Georgia Tech, and finally completed two B.S. degrees - one in physics, and the other computer science (changed major) in 2014. I've tutored and helped countless classmates throughout the years.

I'm a graduate of Georgia Tech '87 with a Masters degree, since then I've worked with numerous Department of Defense contractors working on projects ranging from Image Processing to Missile Simulation. I enjoy math and like to involve myself with bright young minds by planting a seed that someday will blossom into outstanding scientist. Although my teaching credentials is somewhat limited, I thought I'd challenge myself with this new endeavor. I believe that kids learn best when they have incentive, whether it is something they relate to or something they find interesting. I believe few will find homework interesting, unless it is relatable to their daily lives. I like to facilitate the process and let the child make his/her own discovery with minimal intrusion by the instructor. Self discovery is more satisfying than using a force fed method of rote learning.

I am a very patient but straight foreward individual who love expressing ideas with various examples. I am hands on and a visual learner. Therefore, I make sure along with telling or giving directions each person will also get the picture with it. Each person is different with their learning abilities and I strive to help them understand through various learning styles. I have earned my graduate certificate in Accounting and a bachelors in Business. I have always loved teaching. While attending high school, I helped assist with adult education classes at night. This allowed me to help others understand how to solve mathmatical problems by using other methods. I also worked as a substitute teacher for a few years working with K - 8th grade students. Never stopping with teaching others to understand, I currently work with younger and older adults teaching the basics on business plan
