A Little Bit About Me...

I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, but my experience has reached beyond that to help children with behavioral and mental health issues. I love working with individuals and meeting their individual needs. My job experience includes teaching Pre-Kindergarten, substitute teaching in public schools, working as a Wrap Around Counselor in the school system and in the home and community,and providing Case Management services for Early Intervention and foster care.
When working with children of all ages I believe instruction should be non intimidating, exciting and rewarding! That often means using non traditional methods and materials for learning. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with concentrations in Sociology and Business from Excelsior College in Albany, NY. AN AAS in Equine Business from Northwest College, Powell, WY and a AA Liberal Arts Business and minor in Office Inforamtion Systems from WWCC. My Work experience has been a Tutor for Chautaqua- Striders, teacher aide for 5 years, and also being a Substitute teacher.
