Fun and intense. I refuse to be drab or boring. Associate learning with life, colors, songs, music, memories, movies and media. Pete and Repeat were sitting on a fence. Pete fell off. Who was left? High school was a blast, and I loved every moment!! I was the history buff, drama geek, grammar police and still am to this day. I did High School plays every year in High School, scored perfect on the English portion of my ACT, was a teachers aide for my History and English teacher, wrote for the school paper, studied Journalism, Drama, English and History as hobbies in High School as well as Photography and the Arts.

English and elementary skills are my best field. I had a college level english when I was in 8th grade. Math is an okay subject for elementary but I'm not the best at algrebra or higher. My spelling skills and writing skills are excellent. Like I have said before my total english level was a college level when I was in 8th grade. If you need help with your english or science it's a really good idea to come to me with it.
I will work with the children to fit their needs in the subject. My teaching style usually blends in with the child's learning ability.

I love to teach children and find it both a challenge as well as an inspiration. When teaching I find it necessary to determine the learning styles of each student as well as areas of interest. Once these have been determined it is much easier to determine the areas of academic needs and teach according to how they best learn. Learning should not be seen as a chore but rather as an opportunity to succeed in life. Whenever possible I include technology into the curriculum to enhance teaching. If teaching a large class it may be necessary to break into small groups to focus on the needs of certain students while providing enrichment activities for others.
