My comments on tutoring Calculus II : Got an A in Calc II at WTCC as well.

Tutored on TutorSelect.come before a few years back and successfully tutored over ten individual students as well as a couple of group sessions with in between 2 and 4 students. All the students I tutored were either in high school or college. My topic I predominately tutor and that I most enjoy tutoring is mathematics. I've taken Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, all three college Calculus courses, and Differential Equations. I also took both college-level General Chemistry courses and both calculus-based Physics courses. I also was responsible in most of my classes for developing a weekly schedule for tutoring/studying course topics with fellow classmates and friends. Professional Exam Prep and Subject Tutoring

During my time as Head Tutor at UNCA, regardless of department, I tutored over 200 students in mathematics and physics. Of those students, at least 80% saw an increase of at least one letter grade and at least 20% saw an increase by two letter grades. Many students I tutored in one subject came back to be for tutoring in the other. I will graduate from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Business. I have taken very high levels of mathematics, including Single and Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Probability. I have experience tutoring middle school students in Algebra all the way up to tutoring my fellow classmate in Differential Equations.
My favorite experience with tutoring was teaching algebra to 8th graders. I tried to take them through basic examples that thoroughly teach the overarching concept and then have them take that concept and apply it to examples with added functionality.
