A Little Bit About Me...

I am a graduate of a major university and have several degrees: BS in Clothing, Merchandising and Textiles, AA in Political and Economic Science, as well as two minors, one in General Business and the other in Communications. They have all enabled me to learn and understand a wide range of different areas: English, math, science, accounting, and writing. Also I am well versed in History. In my college experience I have had to accomplish writing successful papers, understand general math as well as business math, I can bring these concepts to a child who is struggling in these areas and help them to overcome and understand the subject. I have tutored English in the past and I am looking to help other students.

I am a driven individual who has obtained a Masters in Social Work with a concentration in Child Welfare in addition to a BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. While attending graduate school I worked as a substitute teacher which allowed me to gain experience working with children of various ages and levels. I enjoy working with children and families and being able to positively impact and enrich their lives. For the past 7 years I have taught psycho-educational groups, in my most recent place of employment I worked hands on with young adults helping them develop independent living skills.
