I love to educate children of many ages I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old in the house. You teach many different aspects of life, not just academically. Being a tutor for grades 6-8 was different because they had the basics. They needed to be informed and focused. Substitute teaching grades K-8 was rather different because the children acted as though they haven't learned anything, so you had to make them feel comfortable. I love teaching with repetition and visual. With patience, understanding, and love a child can learn anything.

I believe that there is no such thing as one size fits all teaching. Every student learns in a different way, at a different pace, and much of the fun for me in the process of teaching is improvisation: discovering which methods work best for each student. I believe foremost in teaching students to take responsibility for their own learning: I will teach how to learn, and I will try to develop a student's passion for a subject, but I expect students to work toward their own development. I have a passion to educate young minds and help them blossom into well rounded responsible individuals. I enjoy getting to know students in order to teach them.
