In 2001, I received my certification in Elementary Education from CCSU. I then substitute taught for the town of West Hartford for 2 years while I got married and had my son. He had a lot of health problems so the decision was made for me to stay home with him. When it came to Kindergarten he still had many health issues so we thought it was best to keep him home and I began to Homeschool him. I love helping and working with everyone. I believe learning is a mental thing. When, I start to tutor someone I always have them erase from their minds "I can't do this" or "its to hard" and have them input into their minds "I can do this". I feel one must believe they can before they actually do. Math is just a continuous discipline where you apply what you have learned from previous classes.
