I recently graduated from Syracuse University. I majored in finance and marketing management with a minor in information technology. In my finance courses, I have gained extensive knowledge in different areas of math. Apart from my academic studies, I joined clubs where I held leadership positions which allowed me build team building and leadership skills. When I was a junior in high school, I volunteered for the YMCA. I worked at Guilderland Elementary School, where I helped the kids with their homework. It was definitely a memorable experience.
Ever since I volunteered at Guilderland High School where I helped children with homework, I love teaching and being around with children. Once you put the effort into their learning and be there with them one step at a time until they finally understand the concept and/or get the answer, it is an amazing feeling.

My teaching style is replete with visuals and drawing an analogy from nature to help understand abstract concepts of science. I strongly believe students can grasp ideas instantly once they are able to relate textual information (i.e in books ) to a graphical content. A Little Bit About Me...

While studying for my undergrad in economics I found a passion in helping others succeed as I was. I often held study sessions with groups ranging from 2- 10 people at least twice a week. When during these sessions if an individual felt lost, I would often meet with them at a later date to coach them separately. A not so great student, I found that I still loved learning. I love stories in all forms. I have a degree in History from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I love politics and history, and found Library Science a natural extension of history and political science. Thus I now have a Masters degree in Library Science. As a student in a professional college I am very focused on learning and I have gained many skills and useful tips for studying.
