My teaching style involves the student not only in the curriculum but also in the world around them. I enjoy helping students to relate what they have learned to outside the classroom. A Little Bit About Me...

My style of teaching is very associative. I like to take any material that my student is trying to learn and present it in a way they can relate to, or may apply to them directly. The different lifestyles of our students affect their learning behaviors. A child who has never been more than ten miles from home and whom has never seen a play, may find it difficult to relate to William Shakespeare. A child who lives in financial distress may find it easier to understand mathematic principals if they apply them to money.

If a student does not seem to comprehend using a certain teaching method then it is imperative to find a different way to present the course materials. I am a biology graduate from the University of Colorado. I am planning on getting my PhD in Molecular Bio-science. I love biology and all of the other subjects withing biology (ie. molecular biology, microbiology, genetics, ecology etc. ) I also enjoy math a lot my degree only required me to complete Calc.
