It definitely is important to combine styles. I use direct instruction, as well as guided instruction, and groupwork. I believe that all children should be given the opportunity to learn and succeed. I feel that it is my job to create a safe, secure, and fun environment in order for learning to take place. I believe that all students can suceed and as an educator I need to find the best way to teach in order for all of my students to succeed. I love children and want them to be the best that they can.
Currently, I am an online math tutor. I tutor students at the elementary and middle school level. Prior to becoming a tutor I was a Middle School Math teacher at an alternative school. I have also tutored Elementary students in Reading and Math in previous years.
