I remember many of my high school colleagues asked me to teach the class because of unique talent in teaching I had. I believe students have problems in learning because they get information in wrong orders or they cannot arrange them in correct order. Teachers should organize and deliver information in suitable ways, so students can recall them easily. I published a paper, which described the impact of modern active teaching strategies on student’s performance. I found that when students find the information themselves, they would retain them for long time and use them in their daily life.

As a student at the University of Detroit Mercy, I worked as a tutor for two years. I helped other students struggling in mathematics and biology classes. Also, my senior year in college I worked as a Teaching Assistant for a Microbiolgy lab. In addition, I did student teaching for a Catholic Middle School.
Many people have different teaching skills and techniques. I do not believe any technique to educate a child is better than any other technique. Each child learns differently. Understanding the fact that children learn differently is crucial. The teacher must be able to adapt to the child's learning style. My teaching experience came from tutoring at Alkebulan Village for the last two years. I tutored high school students at different levels of math such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra (I & II), Geometry, Precalculus. I also prepared the student for the ACT exam.
