I understand that everyone learns differently. I generally prefer a more hands on approach. I attended a Montessori middle school and found it most effective. However, the goal is find what works best for the student. I graduated 10th in a high school class of 900. I have a BA in Dance and am currently taking pre physical therapy course work. In 2000 I volunteered in the local high school's journalism class because of my passion for writing.
