Reasonable Rates for a Passionate, Experienced Teacher

I think that the most important aspect of tutoring is finding out why the student needs a tutor, and to get to the bottom of that, it is important to listen to the student and figure out what the barrier to learning has been. Once that is solved, whether it be a lack of interest in the subject, or simply a lack of aptitude for that subject (not all of us are math wizards, for example), I devise an approach that fits the individual student's learning profile and interest area. Teaching styles have to differ from student to student in order to meet that person's needs; this is what I do to maximize the learning experience.

I really enjoy being around kids and helping them learn new things. When you teach a kid something and they finally get it, the sight of their face lighting up is priceless.
