I have some experience with Early Childhood Education. I have started but not completed a degree in Education. I have volunteered several times at a day care center throughout my education to complete required labs. During this time I would read to the children and ask them questions about what I read to challenge their minds. I enjoy teaching and plan to be a certified teacher. I would like to work someday with children with learning disabilites. I also have a 5 year old daughter who I teach things. I am good with Reading, writing, etc.

I've always known that I wanted to work with children and adolescents. Prior to college, I was chosen to enroll in a course that helps those desiring to work in education or any filed working with young people. Also, I worked as a Substitute teacher and Paraprofessional Teacher for a special needs classroom over the course of a school year; which include the areas of reading, mathematics, science, and language arts. I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology with a minor in Sociology in May of 2009, and I am currently working on my Master's of Counseling.
